The IBMYP Global Contexts can be a clear, and concise way to focus
the thinking we do, and the perspective we take, in viewing the world and our
role within it!
For this personal project, IBMYP students must identify ONE of the following global contexts for their IBMYP personal project, to establish the relevance of their inquiry (why the project they have selected matters).
There are 6 'GC's that drive the project for students:
Identities & Relationships
Who am I? Who are You?
Students
will explore identity; beliefs and values; personal, physical, mental, social
and spiritual health; human relationships including families, friends,
communities and cultures; what it means to be human.

humankind; discoveries; explorations and migrations of humankind; the

we live?

the natural world; how humans use their understanding of scientific principles;
the impact of scientific and technological advances on communities and
environments; the impact of environments on human activity; how humans adapt
environments to their needs.
Globalization & Sustainability
